Advanced Security Solutions for Authorities, Defense, Police, and International Institutions
At IAC Acoustics, we specialize in the design, construction, and delivery of high-security solutions that protect against electronic eavesdropping (SIGINT), radio frequency scanning (RF), electromagnetic signal compromise (TEMPEST), and acoustic leaks. Our solutions are suitable for:

  • Defense and military units
  • Intelligence services and police
  • Government and security authorities
  • NATO and EU institutions

We build stationary, mobile, and modular secure rooms according to the strictest national and international standards, with a particular focus on EU, NATO, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden’s classification of secure areas.

EU Classified Information (EUCI) – EU Security Levels

The EU regulates secure areas under the EUCI system, classifying information and the facilities that protect them:

  • EU RESTRICTED – Basic security level with fundamental access control.
  • EU CONFIDENTIAL – Requires physical security, access control, and surveillance.
  • EU SECRET – Stricter access rules, enhanced surveillance, and protection against electronic eavesdropping.
  • EU TOP SECRET – The highest security level, featuring fully shielded rooms, signal protection, and advanced access control.

All EU-classified areas must comply with the EU Security Policy Framework.

NATO’s Classification of Secure Areas

NATO follows a similar classification system, where the highest levels require total protection against signal and electromagnetic eavesdropping:

  • NATO RESTRICTED
  • NATO CONFIDENTIAL
  • NATO SECRET
  • COSMIC TOP SECRET (equivalent to EU TOP SECRET)

Facilities handling NATO-classified information must meet NATO Security Policy (C-M(2002)49). Additionally, Denmark follows its own classification system, aligning with EU and NATO standards while adhering to specific requirements set by the Danish Center for Cyber Security (CFCS):

  • BEGRÆNSET (Restricted) – Basic security with fundamental access control.
  • FORTROLIGT (Confidential) – Protection against unauthorized access and electronic eavesdropping.
  • HEMMELIGT (HEM) (Secret) – Strict access control, surveillance, and shielded areas.
  • YDERST HEMMELIGT (YHEM) (Top Secret) – The highest level, requiring advanced eavesdropping protection, signal shielding, and total physical security.

SCIF & SAPF – When Compromise Is Not an Option

We also have expertise in designing and installing Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF). These facilities safeguard classified communication and operations against both electronic surveillance and physical intrusion.

Our solutions include:

  • Fixed facilities – Permanently integrated into existing buildings.
  • Mobile units – Container-based security solutions for missions.
  • Modular installations – Tailor-made solutions for specific security needs.

Notably, IAC Acoustics' SCIF doors are approved by the U.S. authorities for installation in SCIF/SAPF and other secured facilities designed in accordance with C Tech Spec – for ICD/ICS 705 and JAFAN 6/9.

These doors can be equipped with GAS-approved S&G 2740B and Kaba Mas X-10 locks.

Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities

Requirements for Spy-Proof Rooms

To ensure an area meets the highest security and eavesdropping protection standards, the following elements must be in place:

Physical security – Secure walls, doors, and windows to prevent unauthorized access.
Access control – Biometric identification, authorized access logs.
Surveillance – CCTV, motion sensors, and security logging.
Electronic eavesdropping protection – Shielding against SIGINT, TEMPEST certification.
Communication security – Encrypted lines, signal management, RF shielding.

Our secure rooms exceed the standards set by the EU, NATO, and national security authorities.

Advanced Technology and Products for Security Solutions

To deliver total security, we integrate a wide range of highly specialized products into our solutions:

High-security doors & wall panels – Prevent both physical intrusion and signal leakage.
Ventilation panels – Allow airflow without risking acoustic leaks.
Electrical filters & EMI/RF shielding – Neutralize signal manipulation and electromagnetic leakage.
Acoustic security – Compliant with NATO and EU soundproofing standards.
Faraday cages & shielded rooms – Complete protection against electronic eavesdropping and signal emissions.

Our solutions safeguard confidential operations against the latest threats from hostile actors, SIGINT surveillance, and advanced eavesdropping techniques.

Complying with the Highest International Standards

IAC Acoustics’ solutions are tested and certified according to the strictest requirements, including:

ICD 705 (International SCIF standards)
TEMPEST (Protection against electromagnetic eavesdropping)
NSA/CSS 94-106 (EMI/RF shielding)
ISO 140-18 & STANAG 4569 (Acoustic and physical protection)
EU & NATO security standards

We work closely with our clients to ensure that each solution matches precise operational needs—whether for national security, defense, or intelligence services.
