Matrix Silencers

Matrix Silencers from IAC Acoustics are rectangular muffling columns arranged in an array configuration. The Matrix Silencer is created from a desire to build a silencer with similar acoustics as a traditional baffle silencer, but with a lower pressure drop.

By reducing the distance between the columns the acoustic performance can be tuned to match the acoustic target in any application without having to change the shape of the column.
