Shock mounts

Mounts for shock loads are manufactured to allow great movements of the equipment to be shock-absorbed. The shock mounts can be designed very differently and can be supplied in many variants. IAC Acoustics offers shock absorbers in the types Wiremounts, Elastomer Mounts and Nato Naval Elastic Mounts.

Shock calculations can be made for all types of shock mounts.

  • Simulation with infinite degrees of freedom

Helical Mounts

The Helical type shock and vibration mount is a wire mount that covers the entire range from small to large equipment. Most often used by the military and can also be used for many transport tasks.

Half Helical Mounts

Shock and vibration type Half-Helical is a wire mount for the medium-duty tasks. Most often used by the military and can also be used for many transport tasks.

Polycal Mounts

Combined shock and vibration isolation. Polycal is for lighter equipment. Provides the same isolation in all directions. Used by the military and can also be used for transport.

NATO Stock Mounts

NATO Stock shock mounts are slightly older models of shock mounts, which are widely used in naval vessels. Can be used for industrial purposes for isolating shock impact and where it is important to achieve a high degree of vibration isolation simultaneously.

Elastomer Mounts

Elastomer mounts have excellent shock and vibration isolation properties and are most commonly used to reduce the acoustic signature of naval vessels. Can be widely used for industrial applications where there is shock or falling loads.

Axycal Mounts

Shock and vibration mount, Type Axycal is for use with very light equipment. Used by the military and can also be used for transport.
